The treatment

What it is.

Some children benefit enormously from early orthodontic guidance between ages 7 and 11 — when the jaw is still growing and small interventions can prevent major issues later. Other children are best left alone until their adult teeth fully arrive. Our first job is to honestly tell you which group your child is in.

Best fit

Who this is for.

  • Children aged 7 to 11 with crowding, bite issues, or thumb-sucking effects
  • Parents wanting an honest assessment before committing

What it gives you

  • Can prevent larger problems later in adolescence
  • Smaller, gentler interventions while the jaw is still growing
  • Kids tolerate early treatment unusually well — they adapt fast

The honest note

We turn away roughly 40% of children brought to us for early treatment. The right time matters more than the early time — and we'd rather wait than start something unnecessary.

The pacing is general — your exact timeline depends on your case. We'll personalise the plan at your consultation.

Honest answers

The questions patients
actually ask.

If your worry isn't here, ask us in the free consultation — or send a quick WhatsApp.

My child is 9 — is that too young?

Sometimes early treatment between 7 and 11 prevents larger problems later. But not every 9-year-old needs braces yet. We'll examine your child and tell you honestly whether to start now, monitor, or wait.

How do I know I'm not being upsold?

We share our turn-away rate (~40%) publicly for a reason. If we don't think your child needs treatment yet, we'll say so. The consultation is free regardless.

Compare

How does this compare to
other treatments?

Two adjacent paths worth considering. The right answer often depends on your case — we'll help you decide.
